Since the successful launch of Wo Long : Fallen Dynasty a month ago, many players are looking to beef up their end game gear in preparation of the upcoming wave of DLCs from the Season Pass.
With the Battle of Zhongyuan coming up in June, this will be the opportune time to farm up some new sets to tackle these post-game content.
There will be a total of 9 new Graces Sets and they will only appear on 4-star or higher equipment. Additionally, these Graces Sets effect won’t be rolled into any original set effect such as Lu Bu’s armour set. On top of that, those effect will only appear on weapons and armour, and not on accessories.
However, the set effects of the weapons are counted separately regardless of whether it’s a melee or ranged weapon. Regardless of the difference in weapon types, as long as it has the same Graces, it will be counted towards the set.

The description in game for the fifth tier effect of this Grace Set is pretty vague. According to YouTuber ぴろちゃん, if the difference between the averages of all the Five Virtues is less than 5, the player’s Ki consumption for evasion, Ki techniques, and martial arts will be reduced, and the Ki gained from basic attacks will be increased.
If only 3 of the 5 virtues have a small difference of less than 5, then only the aura cost of evasion is reduced.

Aside from the Graces Sets, there are also some equipment that will have the Set Mitigation effect, which reduces the amount of equipment required for the bonus set effect.
As an example, if a player were to use an equipment with Set Mitigation, they will only need to equip five pieces of a Grace Set to fully unlock the set bonus instead of the usual six pieces. Thus, freeing up the last remaining bar which can be used to match another normal set effect.
I personally recommend getting the Set Mitigation effect on your ranged weapons since it gives you more opportunity to slot in more set pieces on your other equipment; considering how you can equip two ranged weapons, and the one that you’re not currently holding will still have the Set Mitigation effect be active.
Unfortunately, the only way to this effect is from random enemy drops. However, with the 1.05 patch, the drop rates for 5-star gear is increased, so players will have an easier time grinding.
