In Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the Chocobo Stop is a critical location for players, as it offers various functions that will help them progress and complete all the contents of the game.
One of the most frequently used, and arguably most important functions of a Chocobo Stop is for Fast Travel, allowing players to travel through different points of the game effectively. The more Chocobo Stops you unlock, the easier it is to travel across each region, as more places in the region will be easily accessible.
Another function of the Chocobo Stop is to get the Golden Plume, and this is very crucial for those who frequently or downright love playing the Chocobo Race mini-game. Golden Plumes are used to buy various equipment for your Chocobo, which can then be used to dress up and stylize your Chocobo according to your needs. This means, that if you ignore the Chocobo Stops completely, your Chocobo will have no equipment, be sad, look ugly, and be slow.
In addition, another crucial function of the Chocobo Stop is that it acts as a Rest Area for your characters, letting them replenish HP and MP. Now, to be able to do this, you will first require the Chocobo Cushion which can be purchased from NPCs or crafted at the Item Transmuter. But once you do get it, this can be crucial in keeping your characters alive, especially if you are playing on Hard difficulty or when you want to fight strong bosses in each region, as the closest location to replenish is usually the Chocobo Stop.
Normally when you’re near a Chocobo Stop that you have not found yet, a Chocobo Chick will appear and very politely guide you to its location, all you need to do then is to follow them. But if you think that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth hides those stops too well, then we are here for you.
Here are all the Chocobo Stop locations in each region, as shown on the map:
Grasslands
Junon
Corel
Gongaga
Cosmo Canyon
Nibel
And that’s all the Chocobo Stop locations in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth! As previously mentioned, a Chocobo chick will lead you to a stop if you haven’t found it before, so if you’re following the guide but can’t find it, stay in the area and keep an eye out for the furry helper.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available now for PlayStation 5.
