Getting Started
When you start the game, you have several login options. We recommend registering for a new Seasun account using your Gmail. The reason is that you can register using alternate emails or salted emails.
A salted email is your real email but you add dots or integers in between your name. Any emails sent to a salted email will be redirected to the real email. This way, it allows you to use the same email multiple times for registration.
Example:
Real Email: [email protected]
Salted Email: [email protected]
After signing in, you will be brought into a lengthy prologue and tutorial of the game. Unfortunately, you cannot skip this portion of the game.
After you cleared Stage 1-9, you will unlock the mailbox.
Head over to the mailbox on the main menu screen and redeem any relevant rewards sent to you.
If you pre-registered the game, your mail should include the pre-registration milestone rewards that contains 800 DigiCash, 5 Operative Recruitment Chit, and the Interstellar Voyager costume for Lyfe – Wednesday.
After that, head over to the Events section at the left side of the main menu and you will obtain 10 Operative Recruitment Chit from the “Makings of a Legend” event.
Once you completed the entirety of Chapter 1, ending with Progress 6, you will then unlocked the gacha system called the “Echo”.
Gacha System
Before doing any rolling, it is good to know how the gacha system works and having such knowledge will help you optimize your pulls.
Snowbreak: Containment Zone features a gacha system similar to games like Genshin Impact where there is a pity system to push players into getting a guaranteed high rarity character or weapon after a certain number of rolls.
The hard pity or the number of pulls it takes to get a guaranteed 5★ characters or weapons is as follows:
- Character Banner – 80th roll to guarantee a 5★ character
- Weapon Banner – 60th roll to guarantee a 5★ weapon
- Battle Assembly (Beginner Banner) – 50th roll to guarantee a 5★ character
Each gacha pull is worth 160 DigiCash and can be exchanged to the relevant tickets for each banner type.
For ease of pulling characters you want, rolling on the Battle Assembly beginner banner is recommended. Not only will you be guaranteed a 5★ character within 50 pulls, the banner also featured an onboarding benefit that give 20% discount on 10 rolls. This make it so that you are only spending 8 Operative Recruitment Chit for 10 rolls.
Rolling the Banner
After going through Chapter 1 and claiming all the rewards, you should have more than 20 pulls worth of currency.
Pull for the Limited Banner if you wish to get the featured character. Otherwise, spend all your DigiCash on pulling the Battle Assembly beginner banner until you hit pity and receive your 5★ character.
If you are not satisfied with your pull, restart the game with a newly registered Seasun account and repeat the process.
Note that upon completing Main Story [Normal] 5-12 stage, players can choose one of five standard 5★ Operatives to be added to their account for free.
The five 5★ Operatives are:
- Yao – Winter Solstice
- Fenny – Coronet
- Marian – Swift
- Lyfe – Wild Hunt
- Fritia – Hush
Luckily, early impressions of all the 5★ characters are positive, so you won’t feel very disappointed regardless of which character you pulled. However, if you want a reference as to who to pull, you can refer to our early impression tier list.
We wish you the best on getting your desired Operative and have fun with the game.
