Where To Find Evolution Stones
You can find fire stones, water stones, leaf stones and thunder stones at stores in the various towns in the game. Dawn Stones, Dusk Stones, Moon Stones, Sun Stones, Shiny Stones and Ice Stones however are harder to get as they are scarttered around the region’s overworld or can be dropped by certain pokemon.
Finding The Evolutions for Armarougue and Ceruledge
To evolve Charcadet into Armarougue or Ceruledge, you need to expose them to the Auspicious Armor (for Armarougue in Scarlet) or Malicious Armor (for Ceruledge in violet).
To get these sets of armour, you need to go to Zapapico Town and speak to the person in front of the town fountain. In Scarlet, it’s a man in a pink shirt and in violet, it’s a woman in a denim jacket. They offer to trade you the evolution item for Pokemon materials. If you have scarlet, the main will want 10 Bronzor fragments, and if you have Violet, you’ll have to find 10 Sinitea Chips.
You can find these pokemon and battle them for the materials in the following marked locations:
Evolving Gimmighoul
Gimmighoul has an interesting way of evolving. It has two forms: chest form which you can battle and catch, and roaming form where it appears outside its chest but can’t be battled. If you interact with the roaming form, it’ll drop some Gimmighoul coins, the exact number of coins changes, it can be anywhere from 1 to 200. There is a 50 percent chance that Roaming Gimmighoul will appear in the same spot the next day.
If you catch or defeat a chest form Gimmeghoul it’ll drop anywhere from 30 to 777 coins. Chest Gimmighoul has a 5 Percent of respawning the next day.
If you level up a Gimmieghoul after obtaining 999 coins, it will evolve into Gholdengo. This is the only way to obtain the pokemon in the games.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available for the Nintendo Switch.
