With the 8th anniversary of Granblue Fantasy, that means it’s time for the paid Anniversary Ticket for those who are willing to spend this 2022. This “guide” will be prioritizing seasonal characters and not Flash or Premium Gala characters, as the former has less frequent reruns. The Granblue 8th anniversary ticket also does not include the 2022 Valentine characters.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Since this is a paid ticket, you should consider the following factors:
- What element you want to invest in
- What are you missing in that element
- How good your grid is, as some characters may be better for later game
- What other characters do you have to synergize with your pick
Of course, if you’re only here for “husbando” or “waifu” meta, feel free to pick whoever you wish. If you decide on a Swimsuit / Yukata or Flash / Premium Gala character through the 2022 ticket, you may prefer to hold off until the end of the Granblue anniversary free pulls to avoid getting a duplicate. The recommendations are not absolute, as the game often introduces characters or weapons that are catered to specific playstyles.
Summons also excluded due to typically requiring heavier investment via Sunlight Stones for stats or improved effects.
