With the latest upcoming update in Goddess of Victory: Nikke, Blanc and her twin sister Noir will be making their way to the Commander’s room as recruitable Nikkes from the end of the maintenance on May 18th 2023 till the 1st of June 2023, 4:59:59 (UTC+9).
Blanc is one of the first two members alongside her twin sister Noir that are part of the 777 squad which hopefully we see more of in coming updates.
The new Nikke Blanc is a Wind Code, Burst Type II, SSR Defender class Nikke using an Assault Rifle.
This will be a first impressions based on the newly released Nikke, and her overall performance and usability may change over time.
What’s up Doc? (Values are based on Skill Level 10)
With 2 [PASSIVES] and only one [ACTIVE], Blanc is very auto friendly similar to that of Sakura which is pretty great for people who loves to auto such as myself.
Her Skill 1 – Lucky Guard, is a Passive that activates after landing 120 normal attack(s) and has Blanc creating a Shield equivalent to 11.8% of the casters Max HP that lasts for 5 seconds for all her Allies.
Her Skill 2 – Rabbit Twins W, is also a Passive that has two effects which activates after Full Burst ends. One has Blanc recovering all her allies health by 3.68% of her Max HP every 1 second for 5 seconds while the other has her reducing the Cooldown of her Burst Skill by 40.76 seconds, provided that an ally from the same squad (777 squad) is present when Full Burst ends.
Lastly, her Burst Skill – Showtime is a 60 second cooldown Active that has a few effects:
- For all allies – Recovers health at 3.84% of Blanc’s Max HP every second for 8 seconds.
- For ally with lowest HP – Gives indomitability and boosts Max HP by 31.68% for 10 seconds.
- For all enemies – Increase damage taken by 39.26% for 10 seconds.
Blanc definitely lives up to her Defender type title, her Shields and consistent heals throughout a battle would definitely keep your team fit throughout. Being burst II, Blanc is also a great for Commanders who have an influx of Burst I and III characters.
While you may not be able to leverage Blanc fully without bringing her twin sister Noir into the mix, she still provides a ton of utility by herself and I believe she will fit in most team compositions especially those that take their time during battles and not blitz through with overwhelming damage.
While I cannot say that she’s worth a pull as she is not a limited Nikke, but if you do need a Defender type Nikke that can keep your team topped up relatively well during battles, perhaps you could spare only a 10x pull for her just to test your luck. If not, you may pass on her and wait for the supposed collaboration unit with Nier.
