Weapons will be playing a major role in Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, the latest Square Enix mobile title that features classic and new stories of iconic characters in the world of Midgar.
Unlike other gacha games, you obtain characters for free in Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis but roll for a chance to acquire unique weapons. Each weapon can come in all available rarities from 3-star to 5-star, and once a higher rarity variant is obtained, the lower-tier ones will be replaced.
Of course, their strength differs and many may wonder which weapons to target for specific characters. Here is a list of recommended weapons for each character in Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, including the extra abilities they provide and the reason behind their strength.
Do note that the list is based on early impressions and the weapons’ strength may differ in the future when more content drops.
Cloud Strife
Starting the list with the protagonist of Final Fantasy VII, Cloud Strife, a physical DPS with multiple strong single-target abilities, making him an ideal character for battling against bosses.
