Dynasty Warriors M is now available for all your Musou fixes conveniently on mobile devices, and the Three Kingdoms gacha game has a rather huge focus on buildings, construction, and base management.
After the prologue, many of you may be overwhelmed when the many buildings greet you on the home screen of Dynasty Warriors M, so we have a guide for you to know which is best to prioritize upgrading for a smoother progression.
In this guide, we will give a quick breakdown of the buildings in Dynasty Warriors M, what they offer, and whether should you prioritize upgrading them. When it comes to knowing what building you should focus on at any given moment is important to understand what you need the most in your current progression.
In general, you should not be worried about the construction resources needed for upgrading buildings early on as the game is quite generous with it, especially with the launch rewards and new player benefits shoved down to your account. Meanwhile, resources for enhancing your Officers can be quite scarce in the early part of the game.
Note that this breakdown will not cover Market, Trading Hall, Operations Base, and Enlistment Post as you unlock those buildings at quite a later part of the game and you should have established good resource income by then.
Buildings Breakdown
- Castle – Raises the level cap of all buildings.
- Only needed to be upgraded when all other buildings have been maxed out.
- Storehouse – Increases storage capacity to store Wood, Stone, and Iron.
- We highly recommend you focus on upgrading this a lot in the early game as storage space runs out quickly due to the abundance of resources given out.
- Workshop – Decreases construction and research time.
- Becomes important later on once using Gold to skip upgrade time is no longer feasible because of the price increase.
- Training Site – Increases Elixir production per hour and its max capacity.
- An important one to focus on because you will be upgrading your Officers a lot.
- Sawmill – Increases Wood production per hour and its max capacity.
- Can focus on this later as resources are abundant in early progression.
- Quarry – Increases Stone production per hour and its max capacity.
- Similar to Sawmill, can be skipped for later as Stones are plentiful in early progression.
- Forge – Increases Iron production per hour and its max capacity.
- Like Sawmill and Quarry, you obtain an ample amount of Iron in early progression so only focus on upgrading Forge later.
- Academy – Increases Knowledge Point production per hour and its max capacity.
- An important building, not only does it provide needed resources for upgrading your Officers but also access to Research, which further bolsters your army.
- Village – Increases Copper production per hour and its max capacity.
- Can focus later on as you gain a plentiful amount of Copper early.
- Arsenal – Increases C Hammer production per hour and its max capacity.
- Another important building to focus on as it provides C Hammers, alternate materials for upgrading equipment without the need to sacrifice pieces.
Gold for Skips
The criteria for constructing certain buildings is to obtain blueprint plans through progressing the game in Conquest mode and other specific buildings already active. Of course, the above guideline is best serve as a reference as you may need certain resources more than others during some scenarios.
Despite Gold being the resource for recruiting Officers, we would recommend using them to skip upgrade wait time for the early few levels of any buildings. The first few levels of the building upgrade skip use very little Gold and the starting character Zhao Yun is good enough to push your progress far as he is an S-Tier in our tier list.
This way you can establish a good early stream of resource income before committing to building up your collection of famous Officers of the Three Kingdoms.
