Netflix just got its biggest games yet with the announcement of GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas from the Grand Theft Auto series landing on mobile devices via the platform.
As announced, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition (hereafter, “GTA Trilogy”) is coming to Netflix Games on 14th December 2023, revamped and optimized for mobile devices.
Launched 2 years ago, the GTA Trilogy is a remastered collection and a throwback to the titles from the early 2000s, compiling Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas into one package.
On December 14th, the classic GTA titles will be accessible to Netflix subscribers via the Netflix mobile application or separately through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
From today onwards, fans can also pre-register for the games for either iOS or Android devices through the aforementioned digital mobile app stores.
The GTA Trilogy is only part of an ever-expanding library of games for Netflix members, as the streaming platform had recently brought in other notable titles such as Hades, Dead Cell, and Katana Zero, just to name a few.
The timely unveil of GTA Trilogy for Netflix seems to also serve as anticipation builds for the eventual Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal which was set for early December, as announced by Sam Houser, co-founder and president of Rockstar Games himself.
As mentioned, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition, which includes GTA III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas, will be available for Netflix members on iOS and Android devices on December 14th, 2023.
