Gravity has given closer looks at their other Ragnarok Online IP projects at G-STAR 2021, two of them being Ragnarok: Lost Memories and Project T.
RAGNAROK: LOST MEMORIES
Ragnarok: Lost Memories retains a look much like the original Ragnarok, but instead plays like a real time action card battler. The battles themselves are automatic, with you being able to influence things via your cards’ effects. The characters in your party likewise also have their own skills. As you might expect, it will require resources to play your cards, and you will also need to be wary of particular elemental weaknesses or advantages.
PROJECT T
Project T adopts a slightly different art style, and looks to work similarly to other 2D side-scrolling battlers like Cookie Run: Kingdom, Princess Connect! Re: Dive, Slime ISEKAI Memories and others. You can set your formation before the battle starts, after which combat will be done automatically. The elemental strengths and weaknesses will also be employed here, with 6 in this demo build. Additional strategy – besides unit positioning – is a “skill combo” system, boosting the effects of skills the higher your combo (from consecutive skill use) goes.
Neither of these titles appear to have an official website at time of writing. If you wondered what else the Ragnarok IP could be used for, well, here you go.
