As part of CES 2024, Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled early clips of the currently in-production movie adaption of Gravity Rush, including a short CGI footage and a behind-the-scenes look at the production.
In the brief look, an actress was shown performing in a motion capture suit while suspended in midair in a harness.
Meanwhile, the extremely short clip of the movie showcases the character, presumably Kat, leaping off a building into a glowing winged monster, likely a Nevi.

Gravity Rush, known in Japan as Gravity Daze, was first launched for the PlayStation Vita in 2012 by developers Team Gravity and as its name implies, you follow protagonist Kat, who has gravity manipulation abilities that allow her to walk on walls and fly through the air of the floating city of Hekseville.
A remastered of the game was released for the PlayStation 4 in 2015, followed by a sequel in 2017 for the same platform, which is Team Gravity’s final game before its dissolution in 2020.
The movie adaptation is reportedly said to be directed by Anna Mastro, best known for her work on Secret Society of Second Born Royals and Runaways.
