Take-Two Interactive has projected the release of Grand Theft Auto VI to Fall of 2025.
In the company’s financial report for the fiscal year of 2024, they note that the release of the highly anticipated game has been narrowed down from sometime in 2025 to within Fall of 2025.
They are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience as their expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase, as they project net bookings to increase of $5.55 to $5.65 billion USD this fiscal year.
Grand Theft Auto VI is slated to release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. However, the report did not mention any potential PC version for the game, so it remains to be seen if it will be eventually get a PC release.
The report also states the company’s optimism in the Grand Theft Auto franchise as it was one of the largest contributors to the company’s financial profits alongside other titles such as Red Dead Redemption and Toon Blast.
In the report, it was also mentioned that the largest contributors to Take-Two Interactive’s net bookings were NBA 2K24, Grand Theft Auto Online, Grand Theft Auto V, Toon Blast, Empires & Puzzles, Red Dead Redemption 2, Red Dead Online, WWE 2K24, Match Factory!, Words With Friends, and Merge Dragons!
