The fighting game’s roster will grow with the addition of Versusia, scheduled for release on August 20, 2024. This character launch coincides with the game’s version 1.50 update, which introduces several new features and improvements.

Cygames and Arc System Works revealed two more characters for future release following Versusia. Vikala will complete Character Pass 1 in October, while Sandalphon will initiate Character Pass 2, ensuring a continuous stream of new content for players. The announcement trailer showcased a variety of exciting additions coming with the 1.50 update on August 20, 2024.

Players can look forward to a new Grand Master Rank for top-tier competitors, significant battle and character adjustments to shake up the meta, and a fresh Battle Pass offering new rewards. The update also introduces a novel Grand Bruise Game Mode and an entertaining Online Lobby Minigame to keep players engaged between matches.

Additionally, a new stage will expand the battlegrounds, while the story receives an update titled “When Tomorrow Comes.” Of course, the highlight of the update is the arrival of Versusia as a DLC character, adding another formidable fighter to the roster.
