Publisher and developer Cygames has announced version 1.2.0, a free major update coming to Granblue Fantasy: Relink on April 26, 2024.
Releasing simultaneously on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam, this update to the action RPG title includes the new playable characters Seofon and Tweyen, challenging new quests, and more additional content.
Originally appearing in the Granblue Fantasy browser game, the sword-swinging Seofon and the bow-wielding Tweyen will be unlocked as playable characters for all. For those who are out of the loop, they are part of an infamous crew of weapon masters called the Eternals.
Both characters will be free to unlock upon completing certain requirements, or players may opt to purchase a Character Expansion Set to unlock them immediately.
Also included in the update are two quests featuring all-new monsters. Titled “Gulp… So These Are the Rumored Monsters” and “Lock Horns,” which reward treasure used to unlock Seofon and Tweyen.
In addition to these characters, Granblue Fantasy: Relink version 1.2.0 introduces new sigils, bulk sigil transmutation, and various gameplay adjustments to both characters and skills. Those who are interested in learning more can check out the full list of patch notes on the game’s official website.
Additionally for Steam players, from April 25 until May 7, 2024, owners of the Steam version of Granblue Fantasy: Relink can enjoy 15% off when purchasing Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (GBSVR) and vice versa. Various discounted bundles of both games will also be available for purchase during this period.
GBVSR players who import their Relink save data via Steam can unlock a new Id lobby avatar. Keep in mind that PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions players will be unable to participate in this collaboration.
