Granblue Fantasy: Relink has reiterated its 2022 launch window, to be available worldwide. New characters and clarification on game modes have been introduced, as well as a new teaser showcased at Granblue Fantasy Fes 2021:
Much like last year, the various slides were provided with English text, as well as English subtitles for the presentation itself.
Rolan is a completely new character, voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya. The vicar of a local church within a remote town of the Zegagrande Skydom will be exploring alongside you. The Main Story is a single-player campaign with Easy / Normal / Hard difficulties, so basically the classic JRPG. Quest mode is the multiplayer mode, supporting up to 4 players. However, Quest mode can also be played solo / allows CPU allies.
Playable characters so far have been the main character (your choice of Gran / Djeeta, as male and female options respectively), Katalina, Eugen, Rackam, Io, Rosetta, Lancelot, Vane, Percival, Siegfried, and the newly announced Charlotta and Yodarha. More reveals are promised to come soon.
Supposedly in the final lap of development, the actual release date of Granblue Fantasy: Relink will be announced in 2022. Considering the eighth anniversary of the browser game will be coming up quite shortly as well, stay tuned for then. Check out the official Twitter here for now.
