The Granblue Fantasy and Final Fantasy 11 collaboration will be kicking off 9 May 2022 in the browser game. Titled Final Fantasy 11 Mirage Minstrel, the story blurb for the Granblue collab is as follows:
The lone survivor of war against a god.
A defender of dual futures, bound to a darkened tomorrow.
A time traveler seeking to alter her world’s end.
If any hope of averting ruin yet exists, it may lie in these three travelers.
Ohohohoho!
Thus far, Prishe and Lilisette have been revealed, with Prishe confirmed to be a Light-element character. Collab characters have always been SSR rarity since the Touken Ranbu collab, so we can expect both of them, should Lilisette be playable, to be of SSR rarity. Considering the signature ‘laugh’ capping off the blurb, players should be able to at least see Shantoto’s Granblue incarnation too.
The in-game preview should be updated in due course, usually with the event summon and event SSR weapon. Collab events have normally included a 10-draw ticket, so be sure to get that at the very least!
While some people may be wondering why this collab isn’t with the other series’ critically acclaimed MMORPG, Final Fantasy 11 is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, a pretty significant milestone! Maybe eventually a 14 one could come in time.
UPDATE 6 MAY 2022, 16:25: Lilisette has been confirmed to be Wind element, Shantoto the Dark element summon, and Kraken Club the Earth element event weapon.
