South Korea-based developer NPIXEL has just confirmed that its multi-platform MMORPG Gran Saga will be out on PC, Android and iOS on 26 January 2021. Ahead of its debut, we are treated to a new gameplay trailer as follows:
Gran Saga will be telling a story of a knight who departs on an adventure to save the kingdom from the dragon’s curse. During their announcement, they only released their banner and their company image. NPIXEL will be using Unreal Engine 4 with, quote, unquote, ‘Console-Level-Graphics’ and ‘Epic Narratives’.
As previously reported, production values seem to be very high just judging from the older trailer alone, but how that translates into the actual gameplay remains to be seen. While solo content is the focus here, the game also encourages some form of party play as well. The trailer does not provide anything that could be of use in guessing what the final product will entail, so we are just going to have to take a shot in the dark and make predictions. Regardless, the fact that it is available on the two aforementioned platforms suggest that some form of crossplay would be possible. Grinding on the go is definitely a welcomed feature particularly for an MMO, where doing so is essentially the modus operandi.
