Gran Saga Global Service Termination Announced

The developers of Gran Saga have confirmed that the MMORPG will be shutting down its global services permanently on April 30, 2025.

“After much deliberation, a decision has been made to terminate Gran Saga Global service on April 30th, as a result of difficulties in providing a continuous and stable service for users,” as stated on an official notice to players.

The shutdown will be implemented in stages, beginning with an immediate maintenance period scheduled for March 6th from 01:00 to 03:00 (UTC+0). During this maintenance, all in-game purchases and game downloads will be permanently deactivated, effectively preventing new players from joining the game and halting all monetization.

The complete termination schedule is as follows:

• Final service termination: April 30th, 2025 at 06:00 (UTC+0)
• Closure of official website and social media: April 30th, 2025 at 08:00 (UTC+0)
• Shutdown of official forums: June 2nd, 2025 at 06:00 (UTC+0)

For players seeking refunds, the developers have provided a deadline on May 30 at 23:59 (UTC+0) to submit inquiries. However, they caution that refunds may not be possible for purchases already used or due to store policies.

In their farewell message, the Gran Saga team expressed gratitude to their community: “This journey wouldn’t have been the same without you. We sincerely appreciate the time and dedication you have given to Gran Saga and hope you have enjoyed the time spent in Ethprozen. We’ll do our best until the end of service.”

The developers have promised to maintain service quality until the final shutdown date.
