Goon Squad – A New Game by Atari Soft Launched!

Goon Squad is a game developed by Atari, one of the forefathers of games. They have recently just soft-launched their latest mobile game for both iOS and Android. The game is a card-based multiplayer battle game alike with Clash Royale where you need to protect your headquarters and conquer your opponent’s.

The game may have some similarities with Clash Royale but one interesting feature is that when players attack and conquer the opponent’s headquarters, players will be able to steal their safes which contains rare cards to be added into your collection. The game offers a 1 vs 1 mode and a co-op mode along with a four player deathmatch. There is also a mode called Last Man Standing which a player will need to win battles and survive against 3 other opponents to be the last man standing. Each of these mode have their own leaderboard and ranking system.

Cards that were obtained can be upgraded to become stronger. While the game is free-to-play, the game is available to be tried out now in the both the AppStore and PlayStore. The game may have similarities with Clash Royale, however it does have it’s interesting game modes that others do not offer.
