Cosmo the Space Dog from Marvel, one of the goodest of boys to brace the pages of comics will be making an appearance in Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy, the new action-adventure game from Square Enix and Eidos Montreal. And he’s brought his family.
You can watch the trailer below:
Cosmo is many things: a telepathic dog, a loving dad to wonderful puppies, the Chief of Security in Knowhere and… angry with the Guardians of the Galaxy! Things are about to get ruff.
Cosmo is a telepathic dog in an astronaut suit. He is a former Soviet spy, hence the Russian accent who now lives on the planet Knowhere. The trailer seems to show him as a reluctant ally of The Guardians of The Galaxy.
Marvel’s website has also revealed that Cosmo was played by Diego, a real-world good boy who acted through motion capture. Truly a starring role.
This is Diego. He plays Cosmo the telepathic Space Dog in the pupcoming @Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy video game. He was fitted with a high-tech motion capture suit to create all the in-game footage. 14/10 would be an honor to pet #ad pic.twitter.com/xuPGmfn89P
