Godfall is coming to PS4, along with the Fire and Blood expansion for the PS5 exclusive.
At today’s E3 presentation, Gearbox Entertainment showed off a new area, the Fire Realm. On top of that, the expansion will also add a new endgame segment, called Lightbringer.
All of these features will be available when Fire and Blood drops August 10th for both PS4 and PS5.
The new area, the Fire Realm, will include new enemies, as well as its own story with cutscenes.
The expansion will also add a very important quality of life feature to the game, letting you do matchmaking to find people to play with online.
Those who buy the PS4 version of Godfall will also be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for free, and the game will support cross-generational play between PS4 and PS5 players.
They also said they want to expand the cosmetics available for players, and will be adding more to make sure your sci fi knight is as unique as possible. This includes more than 40 different skins for your Valorplate, alongside new loot items in the game.
Godfall was originally a PS5 exclusive, meant to be a hybrid hack-n-slash and looter game, with its own unique combat system.
