Less two years ago, Overhit was said to be arriving globally in 2018 when it launched in South Korea. Unfortunately, the global version was delayed as the game went to Japan first. Now, due to the overwhelming success in those two countries, Overhit is finally set to launch globally and the pre-registration is currently available on Google Play. However, there’s still no confirmed date of the official release just yet.
Overhit is a spin-off based on the popular HIT series and the latest turn-based action RPG by both Nexon and NAT Games. Developed using Unreal 4 Engine, the game boasts beautifully designed and 3D-rendered characters voiced by popular anime voice actors such as Kaito Ishikawa, Aya Uchida, Toiyuki Morikawa and more.
After the evil plans of the secretive corporation Conclave to destroy the world are revealed, it’s up to the resistance group called Black Wings to prevent the world from falling into chaos. Players are to form an army out of over 120 unique heroes featuring ninjas, witches and assassins from diverse civilizations across time and space.
Overhit‘s battle system requires you to have quick hands in order to execute the correct coordinations at all times. Collaborate with other players to form guilds to go on expeditions that require the ultimate teamwork and also to test your strengths against other competitors.
In case you didn’t know, Overhit rose to first place in both South Korea and Japan’s App Stores. It even broke one million downloads in Japan and South Korea, taking just two weeks and a month respectively. It’s indeed proving to be a very popular game so if you love action RPGs, this is your chance. Not to mention there’s an ongoing pre-registration event that’ll last until the official release date. Juicy rewards await those who pre-register!
There’s no news of an iOS release as of now so stay tuned for more updates. For more information on Overhit, you can visit their official website.
