The Girls Frontline spin-off, Project Neural Cloud, has been set to release in China come 23 September 2021. Unfortunately for international fans, Project Neural Cloud is currently not planned to release outside of the country as of yet. This launch follows a couple of months after an open beta period where progress would be wiped, but any purchases you made will be refunded in full when servers go live.
The base gameplay of this spin-off is reminiscent of auto-chess, with rogue-lite elements thrown into the mix. We’ve gone through the various mechanics of the game here. Granted, it was also based off an earlier build, so we’ll see how much has changed since then for real. Hopefully, it’ll also be brought over worldwide soon. We’ll keep an eye out for any news on this front.
There’s plenty of things to look forward to if you’re a fan of the Girls Frontline series as a whole. The anime adaptation is in the works, though delayed to 2022; the proper sequel to the main game in Exillium is also on the table; and Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery is also currently set for a 1 October launch according to its Steam page. The last of these is supposed to be a paid title, though its price has yet to be revealed.
