After initially only providing a January 2022 air date window, the Girls Frontline anime has confirmed the broadcast will commence 7 January 2022. A new trailer, showing the opening movie, can be seen below:
Additionally, a livestream has been planned for 28 December 2021 at 21:00 JST, viewable on Youtube. The link only goes to the official Japanese Girls Frontline Youtube channel for now, so if you want to know more about the anime ahead of January, stay tuned for the follow up announcement.
While the anime is still planned for a global broadcast, it’s unclear if it will be a simultaneous release. The dates and times provided at time of writing only indicate its Japanese release, which itself is also a little staggered. AT-X gets it 10 January, while various webcast and streaming services in Japan start 8 January 2022, 12:00 JST onwards. The livestream might be able to shed more light on this.
