Warner Brothers Japan has released a new teaser trailer for the Girls Frontline anime, giving a quick peek at the AR Team. The teaser can be seen below:
If the teaser is to be believed, the Girls Frontline anime would be following the beginning of the game’s story, perhaps adapting it gradually in cours. Most importantly, the teaser also reveals that the anime will be available for 2021 global streaming!
For the unfamiliar, Girls’ Frontline is a mobile tactical strategy RPG developed my MICATeam. As a newly recruited commander under the private military company Griffin & Kryuger, you are in charge of utilizing Tactical Dolls (T-Dolls for short), advanced armed androids to complete a variety of missions.
If not for the main game, the anime could also have references to the franchise as a whole, which is branching off into an upcoming sequel game known as Exilium, a spin-off known as Project Neural Cloud, and Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery which takes place in the same universe. There is also Girls’ Frontline: Glitch Land which is a fan game that got green-lit by MICATeam.
The official website has been updated with new visuals and the teaser which you can check out here.
