Gigantamax Snorlax soon to be available!

Heads up, Trainers! Gigantamax Snorlax will be appearing in Max Wild Raids in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield! The Pokemon will be available from 4 December to early January. Dates are subject to change.

An internet connection is required to face a Gigantamax Snorlax. Connecting your Nintendo Switch will automatically enable you to encounter the latest Pokemon appearing in the Wild Area. You can also manually open the X menu, select Mystery Gift, then select Get the Wild Area News for the same results.

Gigantamax Snorlax has certainly grown to gigantic proportions! It keeps its Normal typing, at 114’10″+ in height. Abilities listed are Immunity and Thick Fat. It’ll be able to use the move “G-Max Replenish”. It restores Berries that have been eaten, by either Snorlax or its allies, while dealing damage! Normal-type moves will be replaced by G-Max Replenish.

As it goes, the power of Gigantamaxing has caused the Berry seeds and small rocks in Snorlax’s fur to undergo explosive growth! The tree on its belly gives the giant Snorlax the majesty of a great mountain. Gigantamax Snorlax doesn’t seem to ever move, just lifting its upper body by a tiny amount, attacking by flailing its arms and legs. Nevertheless, its actions pack a punch, and is said to be one of the strongest Dynamax Pokemon discovered!
