Ubisoft announced new content for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The content includes a new story mission, as well as a new playable class, with one week exclusivity for Year One players. These are all part of the 3.0 title update for the game, which drops September 15th.
According to Ubisoft, the new story content will be called Red Patriot, and will act as the third episode of narrative-focused content for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The mission features branching story options, as well as plenty of optional objectives. All players will be able to try the first two missions in this adventure, though the full 10-mission course will need to be purchased. Year One Pass holders will get full access to the content’s missions.
Additionally, the update adds a new class to the game. The class, Pathfinder, will be exclusive to Year One Pass holders for one week starting September 15th.
Pathfinder class lets player control a rogue Azraёl drone through their special ability, the Armaros Interface. Their special tool, the Uplink Protocol, refills the Pathfinder skill gauge and is only found in well-hidden tactical caches with other high-quality loot. Pathfinders’ passive skills include: Tactical Cache Identification, which allows them to highlight caches; Scout Vision, which allows for white-hot thermal vision; and Wild Metabolism, which allows for ration effects to last longer and to be more powerful.
