Konami’s early access roguelite title, GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon now has a second character for players to play as, Getsu Renge. Check out a short clip of her gameplay from Konami’s YouTube channel here:
Getsu Renge is the 21st leader of the Getsu clan, considered the clan’s greatest female ninja and revered for her beauty and talent in battle. Selecting Renge will allow players to diversify their play styles as she allows for faster movement and more rapid attacks than Getsu Fuma.
However, Renge’s agility is offset by her lower attack power and defensive capabilities compared to Fuma, so players will have to be mindful with their strategies when using her. Players can use “Counter” at the right time to inflict great damage.
When changing stages, Renge may appear as a “Puppet”. Defeating said Puppet will unlock her as a playable character. Each character has their own Training Manual, while Spirit Minerals (Train, Master) are shared.
Together with the new character, Konami also included bug fixes and balance adjustments in GetsuFumaDen‘s latest update. Note that as an early access title, the game will undoubtedly undergo changes prior to its official release.
