miHoYo has put out several tips for the Windblume Events in the new Genshin Impact update, which adds several minigames for the Windblume Festival. There are three of these in total, all with their own unique quirks to them.
The first of the Windblume Festival Events in Genshin Impact is the Floral Freefall, where Travelers will have to collect flowers while diving through the air. There’s various clusters of flower balls, but you’ll need to make sure to keep an eye out for the Honey Petal crowns, since they’re significantly more valuable than other flower crowns.
It’s not all about flower balls though, miHoYo stresses to remember to land in the Finish Line Garland, which also gives you an additional 400 points.
The next event they talked about was Ballad of Breeze, the rhythm mini game that has you hitting notes to the beat. There’s not much to say if you’re familiar with rhythm games- just make sure to tap the right button at the right time. In this case this means lining up the circles just right – there’s no prizes for overeagerness and hitting them too early.
The final event is arguably one of the most challenging, the Bullseye Balloons. Here, you’ll need to shoot balloons for big points, but avoiding Heartbreak Balloons. The key here is to keep your Combo Meter up, and that means getting as many balloons as possible without accidentally hitting the Heartbreak Balloons.
You’ll also want to keep an eye out for Celebration Balloons- these will move around, so it pays to wait for them to be in an opportune spot to hit them and take out a bunch of balloons in the process, netting you big points.
Of course, you should also remember to stay on the move, since you want to be looking for big clusters of balloons instead of wasting shots on stragglers.
The Windblume Festival is live today, so don’t forget to check it out for yourself to get in on the festivities. Alternatively, you can also try out the Hangout Quests, which are also currently ongoing.
