Genshin Impact is set to launch its latest 5.5 update with a new additional expansion to the Natlan Map with the Great Volcano of Tollan and its ancient city. This update will conclude all six tribes of Natlan by introducing the final one, the Collective of Plenty along with a new type of Saurian and two new Electro characters, Varesa and Iansan for more combat enrichment and more character story’s to delve into.
Journey to The Great Volcano of Tollan
A sacred mountain with traces of its rich, layered history hidden where players are welcomed by its fierce embrace and allow the bravest amongst them to tread its depths. A scared city built by the Dragonborn is roused up from their slumber by roiling’s of magma beneath them.

Players are able to enter Tollan’s Sacred City via a special method and further on uncover the mystery of “The Flamelord’s Blessing” and the puzzle concerning their Little One.

Meet The Collective of Plenty And A New Saurian
Players will be able to encounter a new tribe upon their journey up the sacred mountain, they are known as the Collective of Plenty. These people within the tribe are deeply devoted to fitness and love that further test their strength in friendly competition. The tribe’s fruits are blessed to grow sweet and juicy as their harvest is nurtured by the volcano’s fertile soil.

Although there is peace and silence within the volcano it can also disrupt so with falling showers of rocks. Because of this, the player can transform into the new Saurian of the Collective of Plenty, Tatankasaurus, with its capability to smash through massive sizes of Pulverite and dashing across bodies of water or liquid Phlogiston.

Introducing Varesa And Iansan, Noble Electro Warriors
Fierce in battle but too laid-back on a daily basis, Varessa is a 5-star Electro catalyst.
She deals in attacks with by Plunge Attacks that activates her fiery state, dealing in more Electro DMG and accessing a special Elemental Burst with reduced Energy cost. This can be entered quickly by tapping on her Elemental Skill then following up with normal attacks to perform swift Plunge Attacks. In addition, this talent helps restore Phlogiston after party consumes food.

Iansan, Varesa’s coach and one of the six heroes of Natlan is a 4-star Electro polearm user.
She provides support to the party by enhancing on-field character attacks while being off-field and her ATK buff scales based on the distance her team moves. When a Nightsoul Burst is triggered by her teammates, Iansan unlocks the Warming Up Effect which allows her to continuously restore on-field characters HP for a short period.

Both Varesa and Iansan will make their debut in the first phase of Version 5.5’s Event wishes alongside Xianyun’s rerun and following two other reruns for Xilonen and Venti.
Bloomflower Trials And Mini-Games
Natlan’s traditional Bloomflower Trials makes a comeback after a long hiatus. Players team up with Mavuika, Ifa, and other Natlan allies to participate in the event in order to save a brave Saurian afflicted by a rare illness. Moreso, players can also participate in the ‘Saurian Treasure Seeker’ mini-game that consists of assisting a group of baby Saurians in their search by overcoming obstacles and searching for shiny treasures.

Players will have the ability to invite Ororon for free as they participate in this event.

New Challenges And System Optimizations
The Lava Dragon Statue, a new boss in addition to the update, will await in the geothermal fissures of the mountain.

Additionally, Artifact Leveling will have an enhancement as upgrading them defined with Sanctifying Elixirs will guarantee at least two upgrades to the defined Minor Affixes.
