Genshin Impact version 2.0 detailed, pre-download available

Genshin Impact version 2.0 is available for pre-download, and a run-down of the updates have been posted through the official forums. Here’s what’s to come:

• Maintenance begins 21 July 2021, 06:00 UTC +8 for an estimated 5 hours
• Inazuma will have three areas available: Narukami Island, Kannazuka, Yashiori Island
  • Requires Adventure Rank 30 or above
  • Complete the Archon Quest “Chapter II: Act I – The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”
  • Associated systems and gameplay will go live: Sacred Sakura, Electrogana, Inazuma Reputation etc.
• New Domains, Artifacts, Equipment
• New Characters
  • 5-star: Cyro Sword Kamisato Ayaka, Pyro Bow Yoimiya
  • 4-star: Claymore Anemo Sayu
  • Electro Traveler
• Thunder Sojourn Event ( 22 July, 10:00 – 9 August, 03:59 )
  • Beidou will be available through event rewards
  • Act 1: 22 July, 10:00
  • Act 2: 24 July, 04:00
  • Act 3: 27 July, 04:00
  • Act 4: 30 July, 04:00
  • Event shop will be open until 16 August, 03:59
  • Requires: Adventure Rank 30 or above, complete the Archon Quest “Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves,” and the “Ritou Escape Plan” quest in “Chapter II: Act I – The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”
