Genshin Impact fans in China are quite literally eating well- the mobile game is now collaborating with Sui Bian ice cream, featuring everyone’s favorite 5-star QiQi.
In a post on the Genshin Impact Weibo page, they announced that Sui Bian would be offering special Qiqi branded ice cream in a variety of flavors, complete with special key art of the cryo user.
The ice cream is advertised as being three-layers, with a chocolate exterior, and a fruit and milk-flavored extra layers.
The collaboration starts July 8th, and presumably you’d be able to buy the ice cream anywhere you’d regularly get the brand.
It doesn’t look like there’ll be any kind of virtual rewards for buying the ice cream, however- though you will still get to keep the Qiqi packaging.
This is far from the first food-themed Genshin Impact collaboration- the game has had strong co-branding in China, with characters like Arataki Itto also previously getting their own branded ice cream.
On top of that, both KFC and Pizza Hut have also had collaborations with Genshin Impact, complete with special key illustrations of Noelle, Diluc, Amber and Eula.
Surprisingly, Genshin Impact has had a pretty good spread of characters for cross-branding promotion- of the game’s huge roster, characters are more often than not paired up with the best one for each individual brand, rather than going with the main cast every time.
