HoYoverse have announced several quality of life (QoL) changes coming to Version 4.1 of Genshin Impact that would make progression easier.
As stated in the new Developers Discussion, these QoL changes are targeted at Daily Commissions, Ascension Challenge Stages, and Expeditions.
The first major change are to daily commissions, seemingly allowing Travellers to skip daily commissions through using Encounter Points.
Encounter points can be obtained from completing quests, participating in events, carrying out explorations, and collecting materials.
This would streamline the daily process. However, they have not confirmed if this only gives you the daily commission rewards or counts towards completing the commission.
The notoriously difficult Adventure Rank Ascension Challenge Stage is also being adjusted, removing the strong enemies and allowing players that have sufficient upgrades to clear it with ease.
To fix the issue of players not realising when they can ascend, there will also be a new prompt alerting players to do so once they reach the required Adventure Rank.
There are also several other QoL changes in the works arriving to Genshin Impact after Version 4.1.
One such change is to Expeditions, Forging, and Cooking, with the simplification of these actions already being under development.
Additionally, finding enemies in the Adventurer Handbook would be made easier.
Furthermore, enhancing artifacts would also be made much easier with the new “Smart Add” feature.
Upgrading your favourite characters like Freminet would also made be easier, with EXP materials being automatically added.
