With version 4.3 coming closer to Genshin Impact, HoYoverse has revealed what quality-of-life (QoL) changes will be added to the game, including the much-requested one-click Expedition reward claim, quick enhancements, and spawning nearer to the challenge in Domains.
As detailed in an official HoYoLAB post, the developers will be implementing a series of system optimizations to Genshin Impact such as the one-click Expedition feature and more.
Quest Prerequisite Changes
In the current version, the Archon Quest “Requiem of the Echoing Depths” requires players to head to The Chasm: Underground Mines, but the location is locked until certain World Quests have been completed.
In Version 4.3, “The Chasm Delvers” quest series will no longer be a prerequisite for the aforementioned Archon Quest.
Upon reaching a set objective in the Archon Quest “In the Depths, an Unexpected Reunion”, a Teleport Waypoint will become available in The Chasm: Underground Mines automatically.
One-Click Features
After a long request, players will now be able to claim Expedition rewards in Genshin Impact with a single click with the new One-Click features in the version 4.3 update.
This is not limited to claiming rewards because players can also dispatch all characters back to Expedition with a single click as well.
Aside from Expeditions, players can also claim processed ingredients and forged items all in a single click.
That is not all, the function will also allow players to add multiple Artifacts in batches when performing Mystic Offerings at Crafting Benches and future versions will also add the feature for furniture crafting in the Serenitea Pot.
Optimized Artifact Management
Another big QoL update is the inventory management system for Artifacts with significant changes made to the filter function.
After the update, players will find the Automatic Locking and Quick Unlock functions added to the Artifact page of the Inventory.
This new function will allow players to automatically lock and unlock Artifacts according to the requirements that they have set, for example, making sure Circlets with CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG will always be locked, etc.
Optimized Enhancement Screens
The aforementioned one-click function will also extend to various enhancements in the game such as character level-up, Artifact upgrading, and more.
While currently, the stats value change for enhancements shows up in a pop-up, the update will display the information on the original screen instead.
Furthermore, players will soon be able to quickly level up their characters, Artifacts, and weapons to the maximum level before needing to unlock any level cap.
Of course, players looking to optimize their Artifacts can either allow the quick upgrade to instantly boost their gear to the next tier or restrict them from going over the 4/8/12/16 level threshold.
Domain Changes
In the next update, players will now spawn closer to the challenge starter itself when entering or continuing to challenge Domain.
In other words, no more running from the entrance all the way to the middle of the arena, saving up much time.
Other QoL Improvements
Aside from the previously mentioned ones, HoYoverse will also make some tweaks to other parts of the game, including:
- Adjusting enemy icons in Adventurer Handbook: Enemies and allowing players to “Cancel Navigation” on the screen itself.
- On creation screens such as Crafting, Cooking, Forging, and Creating Furnishing, if there are no selected characters, the one who provides a bonus will be chosen by default.
- Boss respawn timer will now be displayed on the map screen.
