Via the game’s Twitter account, China-based developer miHoYo has announced that the final closed beta for Genshin Impact will run for the PC, PlayStation 4, iOS and Android come July 2020.
The company had previously slated it for Q3 2020, so we are actually getting it earlier.

While a final release date has yet to be announced, the developer promised to have the game out sometime in 2020, with a Nintendo Switch version in the works. To recap, Genshin Impact is an open-word action RPG set in the vast fantasy world of Teyvat. This lively open world is populated with many characters, utilizing element-based combat and exploration, and of course, an engaging story. Take on the role of the mysterious “Traveler”, who embarks on a journey to find their lost sibling, as they unravel the many mysteries of Teyvat along the way. Our impressions of the previous March 2020 closed beta can be found here, and it’s certainly been a ride.
