Genshin Impact is an open-word action RPG set in the vast fantasy world of Teyvat. This lively open world is populated with many characters, utilizing element-based combat and exploration, and of course, an engaging story. Take on the role of the mysterious “Traveler”, who embarks on a journey to find their lost sibling, as they unravel the many mysteries of Teyvat along the way.
Our impressions of the previous March 2020 closed beta can be found here, and it’s certainly been a ride. Playstation 4 players will soon be able to join in their exploration of Teyvat with the game’s final closed beta for the first time, with all the action and challenges awaiting them. Cross-platform mode is also debuting for Genshin Impact, which will see PS4, PC and mobile users team up to face a diverse range of challenges and enemies together, for teamwork and destructive elemental interactions to follow.
“We are thrilled to see that players all around the world had a blast in Genshin Impact’s last Closed Beta while offering valuable feedback on various aspects of the game. We plan to implement some changes and optimizations in the Final Closed Beta based on what we have heard and learned.”
“The cross-platform co-op mode is an important component of Genshin Impact, and it will be a core part of the Final Closed Beta experience. We are very excited to see how players react to the team-oriented gameplay.”
