Bandai Spirits has announced a two waves of Genshin Impact Chibigurumi plushies, to appear in Sega Namco claw machines.
Volume 1 of the Genshin Impact Chibigurumi Plushies launches October 2021, and will feature the female Traveler Lumine, as well as three characters from the Monstadt arc of the game. These are Kaeya, Diluc and Venti.
Meanwhile, Volume 2 features the male Traveler Aether, Fischl, as well as two major characters from the Liyue arc, Tartaglia and Zhongli. The set launches a month later, in November 2021.
Aside from that, visitors to the SEGA Namco arcades can also win other Genshin Impact prizes, such as Acrylic plates and badges featuring an even broader selection of Genshin Impact characters. These are scheduled to start appearing in arcades from 26th June onwards.
It’s not surprising that arcades would start stocking Genshin Impact merchandise, considering the game’s immense popularity. Even though Japan itself has been in and out of states of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic, ads for the game have been showing up in Akihabara, arguably the Otaku cultural hotspot of the world.
Unfortunately Bandai Spirits has said there are currently no plans to sell the plushies separately, so anyone who wants one will have to win them from the arcade themselves.
