While it’s certainly not dubbed as an anime project per se in the “concept trailer”, there’s no mistaking that it is indeed a Genshin Impact anime in some shape and form because it’s ufotable, whose adaptation of Demon Slayer is pretty much universally loved. With only a concept trailer to show, we can only speculate what story arcs they might adapt since the game is hardly anywhere near completion with many stories in between from events. We shouldn’t be expecting this to be coming out any time soon, as such.

It would be curious to see if it’s an adaptation done a la the Demon Slayer Movie: Mugen Train so that complete story arcs can be told in one feature film. Again, this is pure speculation, but could make a certain amount of sense so that the adaptation doesn’t far outstrip the game’s story.
Stay tuned for more in the future.
