Generation Tank now available for smartphones

The mobile game adaptation of Kodansha‘s survival horror manga series Generation Tank is now available on the Android and iOS platforms.

Generation Tank is set in a post-apocalyptic world where following a meteor impact, an unknown virus wiped out the adult population, leaving those under the age of 16 as survivors. As if things weren’t bad enough, giant insects aptly known as Bugs started to surface and began massacring the remaining population. Kenta the protagonist who lost his family to the virus must fight against the Bugs for survival.

The game has players taking control of tanks to fight against the horde of insects that roam the world. Insects drop parts which can be used to upgrade your tanks further. Generation Tank features all machines seen in the manga although players are given the freedom to customise their own. On top of looking unique, personalised tanks have different combat characteristics that are necessary to deal with the enemies.
