According to BKOM Studios CEO Frederic Martin:
“We were looking for a publishing partner that knew the genre and the target audience really well. The team at gamigo immediately saw the potential behind our unique game concept and since day one, the collaboration has been fluid and very productive. A true partnership that we feel will fuel this title’s success!”
BKOM Studios is a game developer based in Quebec, Canada. The studio has created various mobile games and apps for big IPs in the past. Some of which include Star Wars: Heroes Path, Justice League Action Run and Love2Learn Elmo.
As for Gamigo, the publisher has branches all over the world. The company owns multiple subsidiaries, including Aeria Games. Gamigo’s portfolio features many MMORPG titles such as ArcheAge, RIFT, Trove and Aura Kingdom.
On 24th February, Gamigo announced that several of their MMORPGs will be shutting down simultaneously. These are Eden Eternal, Twin Saga and Defiance. How this will affect the new title under Gamigo and BKOM Studios remains uncertain.
