At a recent media event, Gamevil announced new gameplay details on its upcoming action MMORPG Royal Blood, this time with a firm release date, among other things.
Royal Blood is launching in South Korea on 12 January 2018, with a global launch to follow suit in March 2018. All players will have access to the global server and play together, with a similar build version.
Unlike traditional MMORPG titles where players follow a static quest line, event-driven quests can appear in the area at any time for players to clear here. By clearing these quests and completing the achievements, players will be able to subsequently proceed to unlock new areas.
Battles can be automated, but players will be rewarded with lower skill cooldowns if they decide to take matters into their own hands. The system serves to balance between the monotony of grinding and efficiency.
Large-scale PVP raids are the other of the day in Royal Blood, which is going to be a sight to behold given the 100 player limit from each side. Gacha is present, but only to accelerate progress. The best items are still locked behind gameplay, so whales are only able to have that much of an advantage.
