gamescom asia Partners With Indie Wavemakers To Promote Indie Titles

gamescom asia has announced a partnership with Indie Wavemakers to provide a better platform for showing off indie titles at their event this 19th to 22nd October.

Indie Wavemakers is an initiative by GameStart Asia to better promote indie titles in the region, which will be debuting at gamescom asia.

This partnership will allow indie developers to choose exhibit booths in either the Trade Zone or Entertainment Zone for SGD900, along with several other perks.

“By partnering with Indie Wavemakers, a new initiative by GameStart Asia, to grow the Indie Village into more than just an area. Our intention is to give local and international independent game devs the best possibilities to showcase and promote their games to the audience of gamescom asia and beyond”, the organizers said in a press release.

It also includes both on-site and off-site perks, such as having titles featured in the gamescom asia Steam Event and being featured on the Indie Wavemakers website.

On top of that buying a booth will also grant access to the gamescom asia biz app, aimed at connecting game developers and potential business partners.

In addition, there will also be physical benefits such as the Indie Wavemakers Live Stage, which will feature demos and talks to promote games at the event and online.

There’ll also be the Wave party, which allows developers to network with potential partners at the event.
