Gachikun has become the winner of the Singapore Offline Premier event for Street Fighter 6, following a tense and hard-fought Grand Finals.
He won following a 3-0 set against Chris Wong, after the Chris reset the bracket winning the first set from the loser’s side.
Gachikun became the winner of the Singapore Offline Premier following a nail-biting Drive Impact clash, beating out Chris Wong’s Luke and closing the final game.
He played Rashid all through the tournament being the only player in top 8 representing the character.
“I’m very happy after winning this”, Gachikun said at the prize-giving ceremony.
He also praised the new blood entering Street Fighter 6 ahead of next year’s CPX, which features a grand prize of 1 million USD for the winner.
The Singapore Offline Premier has been a fierce competition, featuring top players from all over the world like MenaRD, Daigo and Tokido coming down to compete.
It’s taking place as part of gamescom asia 2023, where Capcom has a booth in the Entertainment Zone as well as multiple stage events. and game demos.
