[GAMESCOM 2019] 25 games, two hours – Gamescom Opening Night Live

Kick off Gamescom 2019 with Opening Night Live! Geoff Keighley will be your host to show off inside looks on stage. Keighley revealed some of the games confirmed for the show along with almost 10 publishers who will be showing something. Expect to see the Borderlands 3 end-game reveal, Gears 5 campaign premiere, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep expansion reveal, and new Death Stranding information from Hideo Kojima. Disintegration, a new game from some of the original creators of Halo will have its trailer premiered too.

Ubisoft, Square Enix, Bandai Namco and Capcom will be making appearances. Google’s presence may be surprising to some. Stadia will be the talking point, and a first-party exclusive could be seen for the first time on stage.

Gamescom 2019 Opening Night Live can be watched on Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook and Mixer at 11:00AM PT / 2:00PM ET. This is just one of few events leading into Gamescom 2019. Nintendo’s Indie World showcase will be at 6:00AM PT, then Inside Xbox at 8:00AM PT with Game Pass announcements, and a peek at Gears 5 Horde mode. Google Stadia’s Stadia Connect livestream will be next at 10:00AM PT, before the Opening Night Live closes out the day.

Gamescom 2019 will be from 20-24 August.
