GamerBraves Newsletter vol. 2 – The Punishing Gray Raven Controversy

Punishing Gray Raven is an incredibly fun game marred with controversy at launch. Our newsletter this week seeks to explain this issue.

We, at GamerBraves were able to try the game out prior to its launch, having access to both the closed beta test and review builds of the game. You can check out our review of the game, where we rate it a solid 9/10. It is just that fun.

Gameplay aside, the controversy surrounding Punishing Gray Raven was primarily due to the unequal treatment of its players between Global, Chinese (and even Korean) regions.

While this remains a dark spot in many day-1 players’ hearts, the launch of the game’s first major event, Frozen Darkness and its first event character, Alpha, has restored confidence somewhat.
