At its 20th anniversary stream, Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile has been announced as a new game coming to iOS and Android devices. Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile is presumably not its actual title, and is most likely for Japan only at this juncture. Besides a teaser video, nothing much else is known about the game, besides, well, the property it’ll be based on.
The teaser website proclaims that the next information drop will be Winter 2021. The game will be from Square Enix.
It’s hardly surprising the series will be getting a mobile game, as many popular and / or relevant franchises get on the mobile game, often gacha, bandwagon.
Other news pertinent to fans will be another run of the Fullmetal Alchemist exhibition, back to Ikebukuro Sunshine City in December 2021, as well as Osaka Hirakata Park in Spring 2022.
Hiromu Arakawa’s next work was also teased, with a rough sketch. It will also be serialized in Shounen Gangan.
Additionally, Brotherhood will be aired again with episodes 1-3 released on 16 July until 29 July. You’ll be able to watch it on Square Enix’s Youtube channel, presumably without subs.
Last but not least, a cafe collaboration will be held in 2022, with details to come.
