Freddy Krueger is coming to haunt your dreams in Dead by Daylight Mobile

Get ready to sharpen those razors on your glove as serial killer Freddy Krueger is itching to kill survivors in Dead by Daylight Mobile. This Killer from A Nightmare on Elm Street and Survivor Quentin Smith will appear in the game on 22nd February 2021.

In Dead by Daylight Mobile (and the PC and console versions), Freddy Krueger goes by the name “The Nightmare”. Fitting to his name and lore, his unique gameplay mechanic centres around making Survivors fall asleep. In their torpor, The Nightmare will be able to strike down his prey.

In addition, Quentin Smith will be joining Dead By Daylight Mobile‘s cast of Survivors. As the protagonist of the 2010 remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, players can once again relive Quentin’s nightmares in the game.

Freddy Krueger is an iconic horror movie villain, first debuting in A Nightmare on Elm Street back in 1984. In the movie, Freddy Krueger is a vengeful ghost who haunts people in their dreams. Any injuries that Freddy deals in their dreams manifest in real life, sometimes resulting in the victim’s death.

Compared to the PC and console version of Dead By Daylight, the mobile port is quite behind in terms of content. Currently, not much is known regarding the next Killer/Survivor that will appear in Dead by Daylight Mobile.
