We have been eagerly waiting for Android release of Fortnite Mobile ever since the game went live on iOS last April, but no updates were given except a super general phrase “coming this summer“. However, according to a source via xda-developers, the game might finally get the Android release along with the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 next month.
Apparently, Epic Games has partnered with Samsung to release their game exclusively 30 days earlier on Samsung Galaxy Note 9, users will even get $100-$150 worth of V-Bucks bundled with the purchase of the Note 9. The Note 9 launch will probably to be based around Fortnite, while the famed Twitch streamer, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is in talks to attend the announcement party too.
This could be the main reason behind the delayed release of Fortnite Mobile on Android (so the game could launch together with Note 9). Fans might be disappointed at it, but for both Samsung and Epic Games, the partnership only brings more good than bad. Epic Games would be getting millions of possible new users, meanwhile Samsung needs something truly special to attract more potential buyers into purchasing the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
