Fortnite Battle Royale by Epic Games has been updating their arsenal of weapons and inventory for players to be creative for their own survival. The game being one of the most popular battle royale games has also launched the mobile version for the iOS. With the newly addition weapon, the guided missile, added into the arsenal of weapons just two weeks ago, Epic Games are now removing it and vaulting until they have fixed an issue that’s been occurring in the game.
There has been a bug that’s pretty much game breaking with the use of the guided missile. Not that it’s too powerful, but the guided missile’s animation was broken, forcing developers to remove the weapon out of the game.
“We’ve gotten a lot of feedback around the Guided Missile, in particular concerns over fairness and strength of the weapon. We share your concerns, so we’ve put the Guided Missile into the vault while we figure out the next steps for its future,” Epic Games said in a post on Reddit.
Aside from removing the guided missile, developers have also addressed several changes that they are working on like the bug which causes the bullets to hit walls that players were hiding behind instead of shooting over the walls, also known as “dick bullets”. With the recent patch that gave us a portable fort spawn out of thin air (kinda like what Capsule Corp does in Dragon Ball), there’s definitely more to come in the future.
