Epic Games has announced that they will release Fortnite Creative into their hit game, Fortnite, today. The release will come in conjunction with the launch of Fortnite Season 7.
According to Epic Games, Fortnite Creative will allow players to design their own games and battles in a private island. Anything created by players will be saved and can be played at any time with strangers and friends. Basically, Epic Games is giving a sandbox mode to players. The Creative mode has similarities to the popular Minecraft where players can create their own maps and mini games.
However, the new mode will only be accessible to Battle Pass owners during the first week of Season 7. During that duration, pass owners can invite their friends to play on the private island. From December 13th onward, the private island will open to all players for free.
Furthermore, Epic Games has stated that Fortnite Creative will not be final. Instead, they will release updates which includes new features and improvements over time. In addition, they also released a list of community leaders that will help players with the Creative mode.
